Mott 32 is named after 32 Mott St, the location of the first Cantonese grocery store in New York City. It is located in the basement of the Standard Chartered Bank in Hong Kong, which is connected by bridgeway to the HSBC HQ, The Landmark and IFC. As such, it is a haven for bankers, locals, expats and tourists alike.
